Happy Halloween !

Unfortunately I work in an area that never closes! I am a nurse at a major hospital here in Memphis and of course we are always open to save lives!! I had to work on Halloween, so Richard was able to take Payton trick or treating this year! Since I had to work, my mom and I took the girls to a Trunk or Treat on the Saturday prior to Halloween at Grace Lutheran Church!

Payton had a great time and got lots and lots of candy! She was a little scared of the adults that dressed up, but all in all I think she did so good for being the chicken she is!! After we Trunked or Treat we went inside and ate dinner and let Payton play on the inflatable slides and bounce arounds!! She had a blast doing that also! Macey Jo came away with some yummy candy for her momma and Ki Ki!

I am so thankful for the time I get to spend with my girls! I may not get holidays and every weekend off, but I do get to spend so much time with them when I am off! I hope when they are older they know that I may not have gotten to spend every Halloween or Christmas with them, but that their mom was helping sick little babies that needed me a little bit more that day! I have a wonderful family that can be with them when I can't and an awesome husband who loves me and our kids more than anything!!

Thank you everyone for everything you do!!

My sweet Minnie Mouse and My cute little Arkanas fan!! They were ready to go Trick or Treating with their daddy!! Paytons' bucket was stacked with candy by the end of the night!!

My two girls and I at Trunk or Treat at Grace Lutheran!! We had such a wonderful time together and it was so much fun watching Payton say Trick or Treat and Thank you!! She is getting way to big!!

Cedar Hill Farms 2011

Every year since Payton was born we have made our way over to Cedar Hill Farms in Hernando, MS. We always have a great time and the kids have fun too!

Look at these sweet girls riding on the train! Payton was having so much fun on the train. I know, surprising isn't it. She is always afraid of everything. Well she actually enjoyed this!

Here we are!! Everyone enjoying the train ride!! Payton was really having fun!!

They can pet the goats, sheep, and mini horses!! They have pig races, which Payton got to be the leader of the white team this year. They even have toys for the big kids a.k.a Richard! He shot corn stalk from a gun to try and hit the scarecrow!!

This is what Richard was looking forward too!! Boys and their ideas of Fun!!

So I am very proud to say that Payton ACTUALLY got on and rode the pony the entire time! Last year it was a bust. She would not get on the pony! It's amazing at how much 1 year can change! She is becoming a big girl! (Fingers crossed that we might actually get our VERY FIRST Santa picture this year)

Payton picked out her pumpkin!! She was so happy about it! She also got to pick out her sisters pumpkin too!

Next we rode a hay ride all the way to the pumpkin patch! Payton picked out her pumpkin and and Macey's pumpkin! Then I went for the hard search of finding our family pumpkin! I looked and looked and searched and searched. Finally I spotted the pumpkin that we wanted! The stem on it was HUGE. I absolutely picked the perfect pumpkin for the Davis Family!

Us sisters trying to get a picture together! Its always so hard to get a decent picture of anybody now days! This cracks me up!! And no we did not coordinate our wardrobe! We just showed up with black shirts and jeans on!! What can I say... Smart girls think alike!

There a decent picture finally ! There goes Tessa with that picture pose!

Doodlebug riding pack to the car with her very own pumpkin!!

We had a wonderful morning with the family! I love days where we have nothing important to do and we can just go with the flow and do whatever we want!!

Just what I needed!!

So let me just start off saying I have some really great friends who carry on very funny conversations!! It's a "you have to be there" kind of thing! We get together every so often and do dinner! Usually when Stephanie comes back from UTK for a long weekend or something is when we get together!! We always have so much fun and usually laugh and tell our stories the entire time!!

We went to El Porton tonight and stayed until they closed! HA! I think they were ready for us to leave because the waiter kept coming to our table picking up dishes and asking if anything else was needed! Dinner was great as usual and I myself enjoyed my drinks!!

We always have so much fun on nights like these!! This was Katie Brooke's first experience on our girl's night dinner!! I think she enjoyed it very much!!! I believe she was a little shocked at our conversation topics, but she easily kept up with our conversations!!

There were a few ladies missing tonight, but hopefully next time they will be able to join us!! We all used to work at the same place at one time; now we have moved on to other things and other chapters in our lives! But we always know that we can come together and it seems like we never missed a beat!

Laughter and "adult" conversation was just what I needed!! There are times when the girls just wear me down and wear me out! So having one night where I could just chit chat and actually enjoy my dinner was so wonderful!! Thank you ladies so much for this wonderful night and I sure can not wait to do it again!! Soon hope I hope!!
